Animal Invasion at Taronga Zoo

In December 2006, TLG held another of its infamous Sports Days. This time we thought we’d go a little wild and visit Taronga zoo. Making our way across Sydney Harbour on a ferry, it was a scene Sir David Attenborough would have been proud to narrate!

As with all of our sports days, teams were announced and a mission to be achieved throughout the day was set. The mission: to answer an abundance of animal and habitat questions and take photographic evidence of a variety of animals, team members imitating animals and amusing signage throughout the zoo.

As you can imagine, the photographs proved to be quite entertaining, with a large number of TLG-ers feeling the inclination to show animal statues some love. Be sure to check out the photos below!
