The Learning Group lends a hand
The Learning Group is very happy to lend its professional services to a extremely worthwhile cause. The Smith Family helps disadvantaged Australian children and their families create a better future through education. We couldn't think of a better organisation to support. The details below appear in "The Smith Family Annual Report 2002/03" under the Health And Safety and Training and Development headings, respectively, on page 34 of the report:
"Health and Safety, as always, were major priorities for the year. An audit of our safety management systems, hazards and risks was conducted throughout the organisation, resulting in measures being taken to address a number of specific issues and the development of new safety policies and procedures, workplace consultation processes and training programs, the latter being provided via an online learning module donated by The Learning Group."
"The training and development needs of staff have been supported by the pro bono services of The Learning Group. Their expertise in the development of customised e-learning solutions for employees will be of immense value to us as a geographically diverse organisation whose staff share common learning needs."
