TLG Coffee Challenge
Take two highly esteemed judges (Mickey Clark & Tom Buckle), add six highly "caffeinated competitive coffee connoisseurs" and shake. With The Learning Group's coffee machine working overtime providing clients with top-shelf coffee, we decided that a competition was needed to determine who was the Best of the brew. So six competitors: "Miss Mocha" (Vanessa Watson), "The Bean King" (Mark Samuels), "The Evil Black Baron of Brew" (Carl Whitbread), "The Borela Barista" (Ida Borela), "Kapowchino" (Jason Cashel) and "The Froth of Justice" (Scott Hall-Watson) all matched their skills on the day of cappuccino-challenge.
The judges' decision was final and "The Borela Barista" came out as the cream of the crop in first place with the blue ribbon, while "Miss Mocha" and "The Bean King" tied for second place. The minor positions followed closely behind with Kapowchino graciously accepting the "wooden-spoon".
